Martin Gorse Wood. Clay Pigeon Club

Martin Mill, Dover. CT15 5JW

I found out about the Martin Gorse ground through a couple of contacts in the shooting community, it came highly recommended, with the flush being a bit of of highlight.

The ground is set out over 10 stands in a wooded area with grass openings. Courses are regularly changed with targets to suit everyones capabilities.

There’s no clay counting system, most traps are on wirelesss remote. A good practice here is the targets are pictured on a note on each stand.

Shoot dates are once every 2 weeks, but it’s worth putting your name on Chris’s email list for other events at the club.

The clubhouse serves some tasty rolls and snacks to get your shoot off to a good start.

Toilets are permanent and kept clean.

Prices are keen and in line with most club shoots.

Lessons and corporate events are also available by prior arrangement.
