West Kent shooting school

Old Hay, off Pearsons Green Road, Paddock Wood,

Brenchley, Kent, TN12 7DG

West Kent Shooting school near paddock wood, one of my favourite shooting grounds.

Very well laid out semi-wooded ground, with multiple targets to choose from on each of about 15 stands.

Some stands also have the option to shoot from up to 5 different positions, making some targets far more challenging.

There’s a superb 100 ft high tower for practicing those high driven birds, sometimes we shoot it from each position in the skeet field layout. Usually a scorecard killer!

There are also a number of stands suitable for beginners to hone their skills, including some slow rabbits….which a lot of the class shooters can miss!

Promatic clay system with very well maintained traps, very few no birds.

Open Monday to Friday only.

Lovely clubhouse with snacks and beverages.

Small shop with clothing, accessories and

shells available.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming,

and offer some excellent packages throughout

the year for club shoots. The superb

Christmas shoot with full dinner gets fully

booked quickly, don’t delay!

Prices are what you’d expect for a club offering the facilities

available, there are also discounts for CPSA and veteran class.

Walking down the ground towards the high tower, with the

skeet layout on the right you can see how beautifully managed the grounds are, and well maintained traps that rarely deliver no birds. Below is the Clubhouse, shop and cafe/restaurant.
